Kids Etiquette Foundation Course (Winter Festive Season 2021)

Our Children’s Etiquette Program begins with social etiquette, body language and table etiquette, enabling children to learn proper social etiquette and positive attitudes to become a part of life.   Our professional trainers and internationally certified etiquette consultants will help your children improving their social etiquette and self-confidence.  Their graceful manners will let them becoming extraordinary young people in the near future. 

Christmas Special Classes

Group B : 8 - 13 years old

Date: December 28th, 29th & 30th  (6 classes) 

Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon

Assessment: January 16th (Sunday) | 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Tuition Fees ( 6 classes + 2 exams) : $2, 800 / person

Venue : SHC The Family Studio

Unit 908-909, 9/F, Hong Kong Plaza, 188 Connaught Rd W, Sai Ying Pun Hong Kong

*Classes will be conducted in English, supplemented with Chinese

**Students who complete the course and pass the exam will receive a "Children's Etiquette Foundation Course" certificate issued by IACDA.

Course Outline :

Part 1  :  Postures and Body Language

Tutor :  Ms. Peggy Yau ( Posture & Catwalk Trainer )

Class 1: The foundation knowledge of decent postures 

  • The importance of posture

  • Confident standing and walking posture

  • How to walk into a room gracefully

  • The things you should know when you walk with a companion
     

Class 2: Practise of varies sitting postures 

  •  Confident and Elegant sitting posture

  • Different sitting posture in different chairs

  • How to sit on different type of chairs gracefully

  • How to sit on the floor elegantly and how to get up
     

Class 3: Elegant postures and body languages on different scenarios 

  • How to correctly hold your bag

  • Proper ways to walk up and down on stairs

  • How to get on and off on cars with manners

  • Etiquette on public transports

 

Part 2 :  Social Etiquette & Table Manners

Tutor :  Ms. Esther Lee ( Certified International Social Etiquette Trainer )

Class 1 : Social etiquette - Daily Conversation 

• How to greet politely in Chinese and English

• Introduce yourself, your family and friends appropriately

• Handshake in different cultures and other ways of greeting

• How to use magic social words and polite language

• Conversations with new friends and adults

 

Class 2 : Social etiquette - Courtesy and Respect 

• Know what politeness and respect are

• Etiquette in public places and parties

• How to be decent and respectful in other people’s homes

• Etiquette for family and adult gatherings

• Keep your appearance neat and beautiful

 

Class 3 : Dining Etiquette - Introduction to Western Style Table Manners 

• Graceful postures at dining table

• Napkin etiquette

• How to set up a Western style dining layout

• Types of tableware and how to use them

• How to order western meals and dining procedures

 

Exam: January 16th, 2022 | 10:30 am- 1:00 pm

Graduation Event (Optional)

Western Lunch and graduation photo-taking ( price and venue to be confirmed )

Date: January 30th, 2022

Foundation Course :

Group A : 4 - 7 years old

Date: November 28th, December 5th / 12th / 19th, January 2nd / 9th / 16th (Every Sunday, 8 classes) 

Time: 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Assessment: January 16th | 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Group B : 8 - 13 years old

Date: November 28th, December 5th / 12th / 19th, January 2nd / 9th / 16th (Every Sunday, 8 classes) 

Time: 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm

Assessment: January 16th | 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Class size : Maximum 10 students / class
